1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we process

• Enquiries and conversations: your name, contact details and the information you choose to share about your business, website, goals or project.
• Client administration: contact, contract, invoice and payment information needed to provide agreed services.
• Website operation: technical information such as IP address, requested pages, access times, browser and device details, and information needed for delivery, security and performance.

The main website currently invites contact by email. Clicking an email link opens your email application; the message is sent only when you choose to send it. If a separate form, booking tool or subscription is used, information relevant to that collection is provided with it.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals: steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence where the enquiry is not contractual.
• Delivering projects and managing the client relationship: performance of a contract.
• Accounting and other legal obligations: compliance with applicable law.
• Operating, securing and improving the website: our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure service, subject to your rights. Consent is obtained for access to your device where required.
• Optional promotional communications: your consent where required by law. Contacting us about a project does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary. Without the information needed to understand or handle your request, we may be unable to respond or provide the service.

4. Email communications

We use your contact details to answer you and follow up on your enquiry or agreed work. If you separately subscribe to promotional emails, you can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

5. Cookies, local storage and analytics

The website stores your chosen light or dark appearance in your browser using local storage under jlv-theme. This preference remains until you change it or clear your browser storage. Hosting and security services also process technical information needed to deliver the website.

The current website includes Cloudflare’s Web Analytics/performance beacon. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as not using analytics cookies or local storage, and not fingerprinting individual visitors for analytics. It provides website usage and performance information. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Other non-essential analytics or advertising trackers require the appropriate information and, where legally required, your prior consent before activation. Browser settings let you clear or restrict cookies and local storage. These settings may affect some website functions.

6. Service providers and recipients

The website is delivered through CoachSuite Pro, a white-label platform based on HighLevel/LeadConnector, together with supporting hosting, content delivery and security services. Cloudflare supports website delivery, security and performance measurement. Email and, when you become a client, accounting and professional service providers may process the information needed for their respective tasks.

Access is limited to people and providers who need the data for these purposes. Providers acting on our behalf are required to follow applicable data protection obligations. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal data.

External links, such as LinkedIn and Google Business Profile links, lead to services with their own privacy policies. Their handling of data after you visit them is governed by those policies.

7. International transfers

Some providers operate or access data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Transfers that require safeguards must be covered by a valid legal mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional measures where necessary. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry and call information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a client relationship begins or longer retention is needed for a legal obligation or claim. Client records are retained for the relationship and the period needed for legal, accounting or contractual obligations; Italian accounting documents are generally retained for ten years.

Optional marketing records are kept until consent is withdrawn or the records are no longer needed, subject to periodic review. A minimal suppression record may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request. Technical logs and backups are retained for the periods needed for security, operation and recovery under the relevant provider settings. The appearance preference remains on your device until you change or delete it.

9. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time. We do not use your data for decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or another competent supervisory authority, including in the country where you live or work.

10. Security and updates

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Please share only information relevant to your request and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. We update this notice when the website or our processing changes; the revision date appears above.
